Paihia Restaurant Provenir Cuisine & Cellar Announces Valentine’s Day Menu
Provenir Cuisine & Cellar, located on Marsden Road, at the Paihia Beach Resort & Spa, will be at the top of your list this year when it comes to romantic restaurants to woo your significant other this Valentine’s Day.
Provenir Cuisine & Cellar has gained itself an excellent reputation for fresh, quality food prepared by Chef Marcus Berndt in a cozy setting, beside the resort’s pool, with a breathtaking view across the bay in Paihia. Although Provenir Cuisine & Cellar is part of the Paihia Beach Resort, it’s also open to the public and has a public access entrance from Marsden Road.
With a new menu designed especially for Valentine’s day 2017, whether you are dining with your loved one or on your own, the mouthwatering dishes on offer and the attentive staff will ensure you have a pleasurable Valentine’s celebration.
The special menu features aged lamb loin and harissa, sheep milk feta and zucchini, broad beans and mint, pineapple and basil refreshment, cambridge duck, roasted stone fruit and rose jam, vanilla and rutabaga, amaranth and pistachio, Valrhona chocolate and salted caramel mousse, bitter chocolate sorbet and roasted hazelnuts, Kerikeri orange puree and blossom jelly.
The price is very reasonable at $80 per person or $120 per person with wine matches.

"Couples might like to go for an evening walk along the waterfront after their meal, or they might like to make a day of it and experience some of the activities the Bay of Islands has to offer, such as swimming with dolphins, fishing or going on a cruise through the hole in the rock."
